About Posada
Jerónimo Posada is a developing footballer who plays mainly across the front line, able to operate as a striker, winger or attacking midfielder. His game combines pace, technique, vision and the ability to contribute both to finishing and to building attacks.
One of his main strengths is his striking: he has a good shot from distance and plays a key role at set pieces, including free kicks, penalties and corners. He also stands out for linking up with teammates, finding them with through balls and creating scoring chances.
This semester he has recorded 14 goals and 13 assists between the league with Academia Deportiva Estudiantil and the Baby Fútbol de Salón, where he was top scorer and named player of the tournament.
He began his development at FormaAntioquia and has been part of Academia Deportiva Estudiantil since 2022. Alongside that, he trains in futsal with the Medellín city team, an experience that has especially strengthened his control, dribbling, decision-making and ability to play in tight spaces.
He enjoys being involved in every phase of play and taking on responsibility within the team. He sometimes wears the captain's armband and is known for driving his teammates on and keeping a competitive attitude when the team needs to respond.
He is currently working on his combination play, reading space, playing with his back to goal and laying the ball off, aiming to become an increasingly complete footballer.
